The events below take place each year for all of our members. We're always working on more opportunities to get the community together, so there may be even more events than what you see here! We'll send information events by e-mail to our members as the events approach, so please don't forget to join the PMIA.

NEWCOMERS PARTY

Each spring we host this event to welcome residents who have joined the PMIA in the previous year. It's a great opportunity to meet your new neighbors, get to know the PMIA Board, and learn more about how to get involved in the community. The Mayor, members of the Village's Board of Trustees, and the Superintendent of Schools will all be invited.

Co-sponsored with the Sleepy Hollow Manor Association (SHMA), the parade begins at 10am on the corner of Bellwood and Highland Avenues, and proceeds to Peabody Field. Enjoy hot dogs, live music, and games with neighbors and friends – and enter in the Best Decorated Bike and Best Decorated Cake contest!

HALLOWEEN Ragamuffin PARADE

Where better to celebrate Halloween than where the Legend of Sleepy Hollow began? We'll close off Munroe Ave while the kids show off their costumes. At the end of the route, we'll celebrate our neighborhood's favorite holiday with games, activities, and treats!

CANDIDATES NIGHT

The PMIA and SHMA co-sponsor this opportunity to meet candidates for Village office as they debate the pressing issues of our greater community. It's an opportunity to ask questions, and get answers from those who wish to represent us.

YEAR-END MEETING/BOARD ELECTIONS

This event is intended to offer all of our residents a chance to hear more about the PMIA's activities for the past and upcoming year. We'll review our community's by-laws and covenants, discuss membership, finances, and elect new board members. The President of the Board of Directors will give a "State of the Manor" address, and we will invite a local speaker – in the past we've had the Mayor of Sleepy Hollow, the Superintendent of Schools, and the Director of Historic Hudson Valley.
